My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but there was a lingering stench that made it feel like they hadn't been occupied for a while. The service was lacking, with unfriendly staff that didn't explain things properly, especially in the dining room. However, the location was great for my plans, although it felt unsafe after dark. Dining was enjoyable but a bit pricey. Be aware of additional charges when dining at the Jbar.

The hotel rooms were a good size and exactly like the pictures, although they could have been cleaner as I found dirt on my shoes and clothing. The service was extremely accommodating for the number of people staying for the football game, but some staff members were inconsiderate and left my hotel room door unlocked/opened. The location was disappointing with nothing to do around the closed-down JACKSONVILLE Landing, but it was in a nice area downtown. The dining experience was very good with a lovely complimentary breakfast, despite some confusion over additional charges. Overall, the facilities were convenient and offered a comfortable stay.
